Chromium-based browser with Comet Pro Assistant. Allowed in the MK Agent Swarms sibling workstream for CRX reverse engineering only. Never inside Exedus deploys. The Grok harness Comet swap is queued.

Whisper

Permanently DIE-listed. Replaced by apple-stt-v2 on Mac (qi's canonical STT). The Mac daemon currently runs PID 34091 at timeout=30s with retry-queue per G22 disk-queue canon.

Unsigned macOS audio routing kext, deprecated by Apple kext deprecation. Lives only in old guides as legacy reference.

SAR (Synchronous Audio Router)

Kernel driver from 2018 — Win11 26200 Driver Signature Enforcement rejects load. Uninstalled after MSI loaded cleanly but DSE blocked the kext.

Windows SAPI / System.Speech

Even as a "diagnostic fallback" when Ava fails. Voice identity matters — Microsoft David / Zira / Mark are not Ava and never substitute. Per feedback_ava_only_no_voice_fallback locked after qi rejected SAPI test fire.

Use instead

Ava only. windows-ava-speak.ps1 via Edge-TTS AvaMultilingualNeural. If Ava is broken, fix Ava, don't substitute.

Telephony / messaging

Twilio (direct API)

Direct Twilio API access banned. Beside AI proxy is the only allowed path to Twilio. Why: AI-layer interception, cost containment, qi sovereignty over message surface, no raw Twilio endpoints in Exedus code.

UI sandbox banishment per canon_universal_integration_no_ui_sandboxes. Every tool gets MCP fleet, WebView fallback, OR data-uniform omni source. Never "open the native app" as a primary UX path.

qi rejected 10 templates 2026-05-21 as "all trash." Building visual artifacts from scratch instead of extracting source from qi-named references = canon violation.

DIE'd as Xen voice

Sonnet · Haiku (as Xen)

Xen's voice runs on Opus Max only per 2026-05-22 architecture canon. Smaller models drift on literal-canon adherence + brand voice consistency.

Use instead

claude-opus-4-7 (current) for Xen. OSS tier 1 (Llama / Mistral / Qwen via Ollama) for non-Xen routine handlers.

DIE list is canon, not policy

Items here are never invited back through "diagnostic exceptions". The SAPI test-fire violation on 2026-05-21 cost trust + voice-loop noise. Treat the DIE list as the same load-bearing canon as the Xen Commandments.
